We had our fifth game drive on the afternoon of 1 February with Busani and Musa.

It started raining and we put ponchos on. It didn’t last long. We saw a female leopard in the bushes. Several trackers were trying to find where she went. We found a herd of elephant. We had to keep out of their way. We wanted to get to the hyena den before the light went. We encountered two bull elephant walking along the road to join the others. We had to turn around and circle around them. We arrived at the hyena den. There were a lot of cubs of different ages. We saw a venemous snake on a branch. The tracker’s light caught a genet crossing the road.
